Election Judges must meet the following qualifications:
*Registered electors who reside in Colorado (not just the Town limits), unless otherwise excepted, and are willing to serve – knowing that Election Day runs from 6:00 a.m. until late in the evening
*Be U.S. citizens by the date of the election at which they are scheduled to work;
Nomination Petitions for the April 6th Board of Trustees seats are available

CIRCULATION OF NOMINATION PETITIONS
The candidate may circulate his/her own petition. Candidates may have others circulate
petitions for them. They must be turned in by MARCH 5th.
A nomination petition can only be circulated by one person.
Nomination petitions cannot be left unattended by the circulator.
The circulator must witness and certify by affidavit that each signature is the signature of
the person whose name it purports to be, and that each signer has stated to the
circulator that he is a registered elector of the municipality for which the nomination is
being made.
Eldora Ski Resort invites public to open house
Under:Eldora Ski Resort will be holding a series of open houses to get public input on facility upgrades at the resort. There will be one held on Tuesday, Feb 9, 2010 from 4-8PM at the Nederland Community Center.
Refreshments will be served. Suggestions may also be submitted to Eldora.com.

Under:The Town of Nederland contracts with SAFEBUILT for building inspections. The documents below include a building permit application and information about zoning and building codes. You can also find the sign permit application below as well as other forms that might be useful.

Boulder County Low-Income Energy Assistance Program
Under:The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) will begin accepting applications November 2, and will continue accepting applications through April 30, 2010.
LEAP assists low-income households with paying their winter heating bills. Income criteria and other eligibility factors must be met. The program is designed to pay the highest benefit to households with the highest heating costs and lowest income.
BC Hike: The Wild Cats of Boulder County
Under:Caribou Ranch Open Space; 2 miles north of Nederland on County Road 126; meet at parking lot kiosk. Join Park Interpreter Michael Bauer for a moderate 3-mile hike above 8,000 feet and learn about the ecology and behavior of mountain lions and bobcats. Along the way, we will also discuss other predators found at Caribou Ranch Open Space and elsewhere in Boulder County, and explore the evolution, ecology, and dynamics of predator-prey relationships.
PROSAB Trail Clean-Up
Under:PROSAB volunteers will be cleaning up slash and logs thinned along the trail north of the elementary school. Bring gloves!
Chipeta Park Bulb Planting and Clean-Up
Under:Help to beautify our town's playground! On October 24th between 10AM - 12PM please join us to plant some flowers which will bloom in the spring and fix up our community playground. We will be planting bulbs, picking weeds, racking, and general rejuvenation of the playground which so many of our children enjoy. This is a family activity so please bring your family to help out and have fun. Also please bring rakes, work gloves, shovels, and bulbs to plant.
